Findlay Trojans

The Findlay Trojans high school swimming & diving team from Ohio, have had a very successful start to their season. Both the Boys' and Girls' teams were able to recover from early losses in their first meet to take over the second half.

Central Catholic

The Central Catholic High School swim/dive program has a long track record of success. It has won two WPIAL and several sectional titles. Many of the swimmers from the school have been All-State qualifiers and earned All State time standards. The school is also known as a leader in gymnastics.

Beavercreek

Beavercreek High School Swimming is one of most competitive in Miami Valley. The team finished second at the Dayton Area Swimming and Diving Invitational held at Wright State University. They also finished second in the Western Ohio League championships. They placed second at the Cincinnati Sycamore High School Sectional Meet. This was a great highlight to their season.


Beavercreek boys

Beavercreek High School's swimming squad recently won its first state title in over 30 years. This was the school's first Division I title. The program topped Cincinnati St. Xavier, which placed second with 207.5 points. The team's four swimmers (including junior Matthew McLarty) have received national recognition as an individual or as a team.

Central Catholic Girls

One of the most decorated programs is the Central Catholic girls swimming team. It has won numerous section and state championships. Many of its swimmers have been recruited for top colleges and universities. Many swimmers have achieved All-State time standards. They have also gone on to compete at NCAA levels. Some swimmers are also qualified for the U.S. Olympic times trials.

Beavercreek High School Swim Team is one the most prestigious in the Miami Valley. The team finished second at the Dayton Area Swimming and Diving Invitational at Wright State University, which was also the Western Ohio League championships. They also placed second at Cincinnati Sycamore High School's sectional meet.

Central Catholic boys

David Cornet of Canton Central Catholic was eighth in both the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle. He is the Division II's top-ranked junior. He was also among the top 20 finishers in the 500 freestyle. Madison Monheim, a sophomore Orrville swimmer, is also on this team. This improvement has been significant from last year's 13th in the 200 yard freestyle.

How to become an Life Coach

It is one of most common questions that people ask online about becoming a life coach. Although there are many paths to becoming a life coach you need to know the basics before you can become a professional coach.

  1. Find out what your passion is. Before you begin any career, you need to identify your passion and interest. If you don't know your passion, it can be difficult to get into coaching. Before looking at different options, think hard about what makes you interested in this field. If you find yourself thinking, "I would like to help people" then look up how to become a life coach.
  2. Set goals and create a plan. Once you know what you want to pursue, make a plan. Start learning about the profession and read books about it. Note down all you have learned and keep them in your notebook so you can easily refer to them. Without a clear goal or vision, don't rush to do things. Set realistic goals that are achievable over the next few months.
  3. Be patient. It takes patience and dedication to become a life coach. The hardest year is often the first. After your initial training, you may spend as much as 2-4 hours per day working with clients. You will be required to work weekends and long hours. If you love what your job does, you will not feel tired after working 14 hours per day.
  4. Be certified. You will need to be certified by a recognized organization like the NLP Certification Institute (NLCI) in order to become a licensed coach. This certification will make you more credible to potential employers and help open doors for new opportunities.
  5. Network. Do not forget to build relationships with experts and coaches in your field. Get advice and knowledge from others. When you have enough experience, you will be able to provide support to other coaches who are just beginning their journey.
  6. Keep learning. Never stop learning. Learn more about the field by reading books, articles, and blogs. You can learn more about the psychology and human behavior of people, as well as communication skills.
  7. Keep your head up. Negative attitude is the number one mistake made by new coaches. It is important to remember that success in life coaching requires a positive attitude. Your words and actions will reflect on your clients. Smile and keep your eyes open for opportunities to be positive.
  8. Practice patience. The first year of being a life coach is often the most difficult. Take breaks now and then and remind yourself why you decided to become a life coach in the first place.
